The Visualization Graphics Library™ (VGL) is bringing the next generation of sophisticated visual representations to the commodity level desktop and laptop.  VGL is a robust, powerful and expressive graphics library that lets the programmer rapidly create intuitive and qualitative representations of information that connect with viewers at a deeper level than traditional "pixel and polygon" visualization techniques.  The world we live in is a rich and complex environment with depth, complexity and shades of meaning.  VGL helps to capture some of that depth and complexity and convey it to the viewer in real-time.

VGL is the distillation of decades of R&D experience in the creation of graphics and visualization systems at top-tier government and industry research labs.  VGL is our core visualization technology for desktop visualization using graphics processing units.  It is used in many of our other applications including our BattleView 20/20™ system for viewing and understanding complex battlespace scenarios. It provides a single convenient API that encapsulates the complexities of programming real-time visual effects on graphics programming units.

VGL also provides a GUI tool for defining your complex transformations, which can be used in conjunction with programming of effects via the API.  By using VGL, your development efforts will be able to focus on "what" to show, rather than struggle with "how" to show it.
